Bean Garners All Region Honors

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College of William and Mary Baseball team finished the regular season with a record of 12-30 overall and 10-28 in conference play while landing 1 spot on the Region 10 All Region Team.

Sophomore infielder William Bean earned first team honors. Bean led the team with a .369 batting average in 40 games played. He notched five home runs, two triples, 11 singles and was walked 29 times this season. Bean touched 78 total bags and scored 36 times himself. Out in the field, he managed a .918 fielding percentage with 183 total catches, 70 putouts and 98 assists. Bean also turned 14 double plays from the shortstop position.

William Bean has recently committed to Virginia Commonwealth University where he will continue his academic and athletic career.
