White Commits to West Virginia Tech
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Addison White, a member of the Richard Bland College indoor and beach volleyball teams, has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at NAIA West Virginia University Institute of Technology, beginning fall 2024.
The Harrisonburg, Virginia native contributed to much success for the seventh year, indoor program. In her rookie campaign, she helped her team to a 33-8 overall record, and 10-1 in conference play. The team defeated Cape Fear Community College in the Region 10 Championship match to earn an automatic bid in the 2023 NJCAA National Tournament, earning a 7th place finish. White appeared in 12 matches, 23 sets, earning 13 service aces, nine kills, nine digs, and two block assists.
During her beach play, she rotated between the #4 and #5 pairings for the Statesmen. White was a member of the 2024 team that completed the season as a NJCAA National Runner-Up after falling to Palm Beach State College in the National Championship.
West Virginia University Institute of Technology is located in Beckley, West Virginia and is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, primarily competing in the River States Conference.
