Women’s Basketball Region Tournament Information

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The #9 seeded Richard Bland College Women's Basketball team is set to travel to #8 seeded, Guilford Technical Community College on Monday, March 2nd for the Region 10 Play-In game. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:15pm. With a win, the Statesmen will advance into the Quarterfinals. The full tournament schedule and format are below:

Play-In Game at higher seed (Monday, March 2, 2026)

Game 1 at 5:15pm: #8 Guilford Tech hosts #9 Richard Bland
Game 2: #7 Brunswick hosts #10 Catawba Valley
Game 3: #6 Southwest hosts #11 Wake Tech



Quarterfinals (Thursday, March 5, 2026)

Game 1 at 12:00pm: #1 Seed vs. #8 Seed
Game 2 at 2:00pm: #4 Seed vs. #5 Seed
Game 3 at 4:00pm: #2 Seed vs. #7 Seed
Game 4 at 6:00pm: #3 Seed vs. #6 Seed

 

Semifinals (Friday, March 6, 2026)

Semifinal 1 at 4:00pm: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
Semifinal 2 at 6:00pm: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4

 

Region/Atlantic District Championship (Saturday, March 7, 2026)

Championship Game, 2:00pm: Winner Semifinal 1 vs. Winner Semifinal 2

*The winner of the tournament is the Region 10 and South Atlantic District Champion.  They will receive a bid to the NJCAA DII Women's Basketball National Tournament at the Tarlton Complex in Hickory, N.C. March 16-21, 2026.

  

Spectator Ticket and Live Stream Information
 Spectator tickets will be available for purchase on-site. Spectators will need to have cash to purchase tickets, concessions and programs.

Weekend Pass: $25
Single Day Pass: $15
Livestream of all games will be available. Details regarding the live stream will be communicated closer to the dates of play.
