SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA - George Fellman is an Assistant Coach at Richard Bland College and also coaches at Brooke Point High School and with a Team Virginia 18U travel program. His coaching experience spans the University of Mary Washington, C.D. Hylton High School, Stafford High School, and competitive travel programs from 10U to 18U.

Known for creating a competitive, high-energy environment, Coach Fellman emphasizes fundamentals, game awareness, mental toughness, and character development. He continually grows as a coach through clinics, mentoring, and innovative training methods. In 2021, he was nationally recognized as part of the NFCA Travel Coaching Staff of the Year (South Region).

A retired Army Sergeant Major with over 25 years of service, his assignments included the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii, the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea, and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He deployed seven times in support of wartime operations in Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Saudi Arabia, earning numerous honors including the Legion of Merit and three Bronze Star Medals.

Coach Fellman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multi-Disciplinary Studies with honors from Liberty University and has served with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) since 2014. Originally from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, he and his wife, Amy, are proud parents of two daughters, Kaylee and Jenna.
