Four Statesmen Earn All-Region 10 Selections for 2026 Season

SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA — Richard Bland College Softball placed four student-athletes on the All-Region 10 teams for the 2025-26 season, highlighted by standout performances across the circle and lineup. Ava Balli, Claudia Minetree, Grace Urban, and Kamryn Lane each earned Second Team honors for their contributions to the Statesmen's successful campaign.

 

Balli was recognized as a 2nd Team pitcher after anchoring the RBC staff throughout the season. She appeared in 31 games with 19 starts, compiling an impressive 17-5 record and one save. Over 160.2 innings pitched, Balli recorded 165 strikeouts while posting a 3.09 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. She also tallied six complete games, showcasing her durability and consistency in the circle.

 

Minetree earned 2nd Team honors as an infielder following a breakout offensive season. She currently leads the team with a .387 batting average, collecting 43 hits in 111 at-bats. Her production includes six doubles, seven triples, and one home run, while driving in 22 runs and scoring 31. Minetree also holds a .485 on-base percentage and .595 slugging percentage, while adding 11 stolen bases and contributing defensively with 73 putouts and 36 assists.

 

Urban was named 2nd Team as a designated player after delivering steady power and plate discipline. She has appeared in 43 games, batting .298 with 28 hits, including five doubles, two triples, and three home runs. Urban drove in 25 runs and drew 23 walks, with a .425 on-base percentage and .489 slugging percentage. Her ability to produce in key moments makes her a consistent presence in the middle of the lineup.

 

Lane rounded out the honorees with 2nd Team recognition as a utility player. She leads the Statesmen with 50 games played, hitting .356 with 47 hits, including nine doubles, two triples, and four home runs. Lane drove in a team-high 40 runs while scoring 29 and posting a .450 on-base percentage and .545 slugging percentage. Her versatility was evident defensively, recording 74 putouts and 51 assists across multiple positions.

 

The quartet has played a pivotal role in RBC's postseason run, helping the Statesmen secure a Region 10 Runner-Up finish and continue their season into the Atlantic District Tournament this upcoming weekend.
