For the last two seasons, Mauzy has been an assistant women's soccer coach at NCAA Division III Averett University. She briefly served as the interim head coach during the spring and summer in 2018.

"Richard Bland College is excited to have someone of Meghan's caliber join the women's soccer coaching staff as the program begins its first season of intercollegiate play this fall," said Westfield. She brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience to Richard Bland College, and we are fortunate to have her in this important time in the program's development."

"I would first like to thank Director of Athletics Scott Newton and Head Coach Damien Westfield for giving me this amazing opportunity," said Mauzy. "I could not be more excited to be a part of Richard Bland history with the addition of women's soccer. It is an honor to assist in building and growing this program. I look forward to becoming an active member of the Richard Bland community."
