SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, Va. -- Richard Bland College remains ranked No. 18 in this week's NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Poll, as released Tuesday afternoon. The Statesmen were ranked No. 18 last week, as well, and currently own a five-game winning streak after an 82-65 road win at Bryant & Stratton (ranked No. 20 last week) on January 31.
Richard Bland is currently 16-5 overall, including 10-3 in Region 10, and scheduled to play on the road at Region 10 member and No. 15 Louisburg College (18-4, 11-2) on Wednesday night, February 7, at 7 p.m. in Louisburg, North Carolina.
Fellow Region 10 member Pitt (N.C.) (18-5, 10-4) is receiving votes in this week's poll, while early-season opponent Monroe (N.Y.) Community College (15-4) is up to No. 11 this week.
Ancilla (Ind.) College (20-1) is ranked No. 1 for the first time this week, after former No. 1 Cuyahoga (Ohio) Community College (20-1) dropped its first game this past week.
