What is SAAC?
SAAC is Richard Bland College's student-athlete group that promotes communication with the athletic department, provides positive feedback, builds a sense of community, develops role models, school spirit, creates unity between the different teams and participate in special events.
Who can be a member of SAAC?
Any student-athlete who is a member of any sports team at Richard Bland College.
Why would I want to be in SAAC?
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee sponsors many activities for student/athletes. Participation in activities have included mentorship for youth, leadership seminars, created events for student/athletes, athletic awards night, and athletes supporting athletes.
When Does SAAC meet?
SAAC meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30 p.m. in Statesman Hall. Special meetings may be scheduled as certain events are planned during the year.
